I love wandering the garden and seeing what's new. The volunteers do such a great job tending to this space, and there are so many flowers and vegetables growing in spring and summer. Lots of songbirds call it home too.

A beautiful summer-time garden located at the front of the Fort (towering wood walls). The workers & volunteers do a great job preparing the garden during Spring time while getting it ready for Summer. There is ample parking at the front of the garden/ Fort, as well as parking roadside. If you don't mind a short walk past cherry trees, there is paved parking to the far right if you're facing the Fort. The garden boasts a variety of flowers & vegetables (See pics & vid). If you walk the paved pathways to the left while facing the Fort, you can get a great view of Mt. Hood in the distance (great views when it's clear skies). The garden is surrounded by wooden fencing, and has a arch & a few benches at the rear (closest to the Fort gates). Make your way over for a scenic walk while you can.

This garden is beautiful!! I was so impressed! 🐝 Thank you to all the volunteers who put in countless hours to bring this garden to life every year. You do an amazing job! 🙏🏼 I absolutely love the 3 vine covered trellises upon entry nearest the Fort. Please do check out my photos/videos to see just how stunning this garden is. If you have not been to this area, you really need to go. The entire area is rich in American history. 🇺🇲

This was such a lovely experience to view in August when everything was in full bloom! Lots of flowers and vegetables to see. Benches to sit and relax maybe watch the sunset. Such pretty backdrops with Pearson Air Field and the Fort Vancouver fort in the distance. You can also go to the first military store ever made that is in walking distance. I highly recommend going to check out this gem of a garden!

I always enjoy visiting the gardens here. There are beautiful flowers and gorgeous looking vegetables spring through fall. I've also seen hummingbirds, swallows, white-crowned sparrows, and bunnies. There are nice benches to sit on, relax, and take in the view. August 26, 2023 Today it was in the upper eighties...very hot. There were so many flowers and the place was swarming with happy bees. I loved seeing the sunflowers.
